Hello,

Configuration:
Xeon 2.66 GHz
4x 512MB DDR-RAM (Infenion)
12x Seagate 373307LC
Backplane JMR (passiv)
WindowsXP SP1
BIOS 1.4c

I have an problem with the Adaptec SCSIcontroller.
I tested the onboard Adapteccontroller and
the Adaptec SCSI Card 39320D.
My Harddisk's will be run only with Ultra160.

With the LSI Logic 22320-R Contoller the system work fine (Ultra320).

I have tested 3 motherboard's. All with the same results.

Have anyone the same problem?

Henning

Have you changed anything else? Cabling, backplanes, adapters, etc?
I've seen this problem, but only in the even that a cable or backplane
is changed. The onboard and PCI U320 controllers are generally great.
What drives are you using?
